Jordan police ask for public help after receiving more reports of damage
Officers with the Jordan Police Department are asking for the public’s help in identifying the person, or people, who have damaged property in the city.
According to a post on the department’s Facebook page, since officers last posted about damage to property on July 27, the department has received four additional reports of damage in the Timberline Development.
The department reports a sprinkler system was damaged, a hose was slashed, a vehicle was "badly keyed," and a resident’s pool was damaged once again after having recently been repaired.
The department is asking residents to spread the word with "children, friends, and neighbors who live in the Timberline Development," adding, "someone knows who is responsible for this."
In the meantime, the department stated officers will continue patrolling the area in the evenings and overnight "as much as we can."
