A former White Castle that is on the National Register of Historic Places is available to rent.

The former fast-food joint is currently an antique shop along Lyndale Avenue S. in Minneapolis.

Pat Fitzgerald, the owner of the 1936 building, posted an ad on Craigslist that the 1,700 square foot space is up for rent at a cost of $2,750 a month.

Fitzgerald told 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS she’s gotten a lot of interest in the building from coast to coast. She said she has received interest from people who want to turn it into a tattoo shop or recording studio. The building can be just about anything, but out of respect to White Castle, no burgers are allowed.
