Frattallone’s Ace Hardware to offer customers gift cards to local restaurants

A Minnesota-based hardware store chain has found a way to thank customers while also giving back to the community.

Starting Friday, each customer at a Frattallone’s Ace Hardware store who spends at least $50 will receive a $10 gift card to a local restaurant, while supplies last.

The co-owner of the hardware store chain said the gift cards are a way to say "thank you" to customers while also supporting other local businesses.

"We are blessed to be an essential business," Mike Frattallone, co-owner of Frattallone’s Ace Hardware, said in a statement. "Our hardware stores and garden centers have been able to stay open and busy during this pandemic. Restaurant Week will give us a chance to give back to our customers while supporting our neighbors whose businesses may need a boost."

Gift cards for the following restaurants will be available:

  • Blue Plate Restaurant Company (including Edina Grill, The Freehouse, Groveland Tap, Highland Grill, Longfellow Grill, The Lowry, and Three Squares Restaurant),
  • Carbone’s Pizzeria,
  • CRAVE American Kitchen & Sushi Bar,
  • Crooked Pint Ale House,
  • Davanni’s Pizza & Hot Hoagies,
  • Green Mill Restaurant & Bar.
