Fire extinguished at Minneapolis group home

Minneapolis firefighters put out a blaze at a group home on Wednesday.

The fire started at around 11:52 a.m. in a two-and-a-half-story home near Northeast 36th Avenue and Main Street Northeast and extended into the house’s attic.

According to fire officials, crews were able to cut ventilation holes in the roof and extinguish the fire.

No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.

The incident is still under investigation at this time.
