Fire damages shed, tractor in Krain Township

A fire on Christmas night in Krain Township damaged a shed and a tractor that was inside it.
The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to the 24000 block of County Road 17 at 9:39 p.m. on Friday and found a shed on the south side of the property on fire.
Firefighters extinguished the flames but the eastern portion of the shed was heavily damaged.
The sheriff’s office said a wood furnace was inside the shed and may have ignited the fire.
The 1980s John Deere tractor and other tools were also damaged in the fire.
The fire remains under investigation.
