Fire damages Coon Rapids playground equipment

Equipment at a Coon Rapids playground was damaged during an overnight fire on Thursday morning.
Crime scene tape has been set up around the playground located at Winter Crest Park, located just northwest of the interchange between Highways 10 and 610.
Crews were at the scene around 2 a.m. Thursday.
Coon Rapids police say no one was injured during the fire.
As of this time, the cause is still being investigated.
