Fire at Edward Neill Elementary causes classes to be canceled Tuesday

Due to a fire on Monday, Oct. 23rd, classes have been canceled for Tuesday, October 24th at Edward Neill Elementary.

In a statement posted on the school’s website, Principal Lyle Bomsta said, “Fire Department officials have determined that the building is safe to enter, but some cleanup is needed before we welcome students and staff back to school. “

The statement adds the morning and afternoon sessions of Project KIDS have been canceled.

As of this publishing, school leaders aren’t sure if there will be classes on Wednesday, October 25th, but will update families on future decisions.
