Those who typically ride to and from their destinations with Metro Transit will need to plan ahead this week due to the agency modifying regular workday routes on Thanksgiving and Black Friday.
Metro buses and Metro Red, Blue and Green Line trains will follow the schedules used on Sundays and holidays for Thursday, Nov. 24.
In addition, no Northstar trains will operate on Thanksgiving.
There will be weekend fares on Friday, Nov. 25 for Metro Transit and regional transit providers. There will also be an alternate route used by Northstar on Friday.
Metro Transit says its Information Center, Service Centers, Customer Relations and Lost & Found will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday. However, the Information Center will be open from 6:30 a.m. – 8 p.m. Friday; Customer Relations and the Lost & Found will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday; and Service Centers will remain closed Friday.
Although some routes will follow Saturday schedules with additional trips on Friday, routes will follow Saturday schedules unless noted.
