Felony charge for Austin, Minn. man in connection with US Capitol attack

An Austin, Minnesota, man has been charged with a felony in the Jan. 6 attack at the U.S. Capitol.
According to documents filed in U.S. District Court, Daniel Johnson is accused of interfering with – or attempting to interfere with – U.S. Capitol Police.
Johnson and his father—Daryl Johnson, of St. Ansgar, Iowa—were previously charged with misdemeanors in connection with the riot.
Johnson is among five Minnesotans who have been officially charged in connection with the Washington, D.C. incident.
