Federal grand jury indicts Red Lake man for murder

A federal grand jury has returned an indictment charging a Red Lake man with murder.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, 36-year-old Ralph Edward Cloud, Jr., is charged with second-degree murder.
The indictment alleges Cloud killed a person on Sept. 12, 2020, on the Red Lake Indian Reservation.
Cloud made his initial court appearance Friday.
