Fair-inspired dining, entertainment concept to open at Mall of America in December

A fair-inspired food and entertainment concept is coming to the Mall of America in early December.

"The Fair on 4" will open on the mall’s fourth level and will feature fair-inspired foods such as cheese curds and corn dogs. There will also be a pizza kitchen and a bar, featuring signature cocktails, wine and more than 40 beers on tap.

Visitors will also be able to participate in axe throwing, go cart rides, hammerschlagen and arcade games.

The 35,000-square-foot concept also includes a stage for live music and private event space for rent.

"We wanted to create something fresh and new at Mall of America while celebrating our beloved state of Minnesota, and what better way than having an atmosphere filled with everyone’s favorite fair foods and activities year round," Jeff Brown, managing partner of the Fair on 4, said in a statement.

Last month, the mall also announced a dedicated retail space to feature local shops called the Community Commons.
