European Christmas Market begins in St. Paul
Black Friday is a special day of shopping and deal-hunting for many, but it’s also the start of the 2021 European Christmas Market in St. Paul.
The event is back in-person at Union Depot for four weekends and officially opened on Black Friday.
After the idea was born in 2011, the first market took place in 2014.
The market includes nearly three dozen vendors, from local crafters and artisans to those selling tasty and festive European foods. There’s also entertainment and activities for kids, including a visit from Santa Paul.
The event is free to the public and runs from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Fridays, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturdays, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays. The last weekend is Dec. 17-19.
