A Minneapolis Mexican restaurant has closed its doors permanently.
El Burrito Minneapolis made the announcement on its Facebook page Monday.
"Due to COVID-19 crisis and governmental resulting actions, unfortunately with heavy hearts we announce that we are now permanently closed," the post said, in part.
The owners thanked the restaurant's customers and staff, and added that the family's business, El Burrito Mercado, remains open in St. Paul.
