Eden Prairie declares snow event

Eden Prairie declared a snow event on Tuesday as a winter storm system made its way across the state.
A winter storm warning is in effect for many Minnesota and western Wisconsin counties, and the large storm system is expected to bring heavy snow, freezing rain and icy conditions to most of the state.
The city said as soon as snow accumulation reaches two inches, a snow emergency will go into effect. At that time, parking on city streets won’t be allowed until noon on Wednesday.
