Eagan man convicted of child endangerment
An Eagan man was convicted Wednesday on one count of child endangerment from charges filed in October 2019.
Waymon Murphy, 27, was charged with one count each of gross misdemeanor child endangerment, felony child neglect, and felony fifth-degree drug possession.
The two felony charges were dismissed Wednesday by Judge Thomas Conley of the Minnesota Fourth Judicial District.
Murphy has been sentenced to two years of supervised probation with Hennepin County Community Corrections. The original one-year sentence was stayed for two years.
Murphy must also complete one day of community service within six months.
