DVS warns Minnesotans of private, unaffiliated license renewal business
Minnesota’s Department of Public Safety Driver and Vehicle Services division (DPS-DVS) is warning Minnesotans of a license renewal business that’s unaffiliated with the state.
DVS said mndrivinglicenserenewal.com is a private business and isn’t part of DPS-DVS. The department said the business charges additional fees that aren’t necessary for renewing online, and recommended residents use drive.mn.gov for online renewal services.

The announcement comes a day after DVS warned that the extension for renewing expired licenses and ID cards will come to an end soon and urged Minnesotans to make plans for their renewals.
