‘Downtown Welcome Back Weekend’ happening July 2-4 in St. Paul

"Downtown Welcome Back Weekend," an event hosted in the downtown St. Paul area over the holiday weekend, will take place Friday through Sunday and feature multiple events.

On Friday, the St. Paul Saints host the Omaha Storm Chasers at CHS Field. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. Following the game, all fans in attendance will get to enjoy some postgame fireworks as well. For tickets, click here.

Then, on Saturday and Sunday, multiple events will be active involving more Saints games, block parties and food trucks.

From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday, Mears Park in Lowertown will be turning Sixth Street into a block party-style outdoor event. It’s a celebration of the reopening of the downtown area, featuring live music, games, drink vendors and other fun activities for people of all ages.

At the conclusion of the Saints games, all fans in attendance will be able to make their way onto the field for the postgame food truck rally. Fireworks will conclude the night as well.
