Latino-owned businesses are getting the chance to showcase their goods at a new pop-up shop in downtown Minneapolis.
It’s part of the downtown council’s efforts to highlight Hispanic Heritage Month.
Chameleon Shoppes will host 12 Latino-owned businesses for two weeks at its location in the Gaviidae Common Building’s skyway.
“Downtown is not just for a little group. It’s for everyone, and that’s what we’re working on,” said Andreina Aquique Lugo, the manager of Chameleon Shoppes.
Items for sale include crafts, jewelry, herbal products and clothing.
The pop-up shop is open from11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
