Dogwood Coffee closing Uptown cafe

A Minneapolis coffee shop says it is closing.

Dogwood Coffee Company said Wednesday that it will close its Uptown location.

"With our lease set to expire in the coming months, we have made the difficult decision to close this location. Uptown was our first cafe and was just shy of turning 10 years old," the company said in a Facebook post.

The company thanked its customers for their support over the years.

Its locations in Northeast Minneapolis, East Lake Minneapolis and in St. Paul are still open.
