DNR: Scenic State Park wildfire fully contained

A wildfire in northern Minnesota is now fully contained, authorities said Friday afternoon.
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources said firefighters were battling the blaze near Bigfork on Thursday night and had it 50% contained. By Friday afternoon, the wildfire was fully contained at Scenic State Park, according to the department.
Crews were continuing mop-up work and monitoring the area. The park and its campgrounds remained open.
It’s unclear what started the fire.
