Disney+ to premiere film based on Stillwater teen who died from rare cancer
Disney+ announced Thursday that it will premiere a film based on the memoir "Fly a Little Higher" by Laura Sobiech exclusively on its streaming service this fall. Sobiech's son, Zach, of Stillwater, died from osteosarcoma in 2013 at 17 years old.
The film, "Clouds," "is the true story of Zach's journey over the course of his senior year as he navigated the complexities of love, friendship, family and leaving behind a musical legacy," Disney+ said in the announcement.
