Crescent Cove play space opens in Brooklyn Center

Children of all abilities have a new place to play in Brooklyn Center.

Former Minnesota Vikings player Chad Greenway was at Crescent Cove Thursday to help cut the ribbon on a new playground.

The new space include a mini baseball field, a play tower, and even some musical instruments for kids to enjoy.

"We are so very appreciative of our funders whose generosity has made it possible for our kids to enjoy a rare opportunity of taking part in outdoor activities in a fully-accessible space designed specifically to meet their needs," Crescent Cove Founder and Executive Director Katie Lindenfelser said in a statement.
