COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 5 new deaths, 929 new cases
Wednesday, Wisconsin health officials reported five new deaths related to COVID-19, moving the state’s total to 6,695 deaths since the pandemic began.
Additionally, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) reported 93 new hospitalizations, moving the total number of hospitalizations during the pandemic to 28,337.
A total of 587,561 positive cases of COVID-19 have now been confirmed in Wisconsin, with 929 new cases reported Wednesday.

As of Wednesday, DHS reports that more than 3.37 million people have been tested in the state.
The state’s seven-day average positivity rate by test is at 3.8%.
DHS said 3.61 million vaccine doses had been administered as of Wednesday, and over 1.46 million people had completed the two-shot vaccine series.
