COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 5 new deaths, 870 additional cases
Wisconsin health officials reported 870 new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday, bringing the total number of positive tests in the state to 51,049 since the pandemic started.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) also reported five additional deaths, which brings the state total to 911.
The state also reported 4,539 people have been hospitalized since the pandemic began.

As of Wednesday, DHS says 851,391 people have tested negative for COVID-19.
More than 79% of COVID-19 cases in the state of Wisconsin have recovered thus far.
