COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 38 new deaths, 624 new cases
Tuesday, Wisconsin health officials announced 38 new deaths related to COVID-19, moving the state’s total to 6,204 deaths since the pandemic began.
Additionally, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) reported 82 new hospitalizations, moving the total number of hospitalizations during the pandemic to 25,422.
A total of 556,332 positive cases of COVID-19 have now been confirmed in Wisconsin, with 624 new cases reported Tuesday.

As of Tuesday, DHS reports that more than 3.12 million people have been tested in the state.
The state’s seven-day average positivity rate by test is at 3.1%.
DHS said the state has been allocated 1,410,300 vaccine doses so far. Of those, 996,591 had been administered as of Tuesday, and 249,933 people had completed the two-shot vaccine series.
