COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 33 new deaths, 566 new cases

Tuesday, Wisconsin health officials announced 33 new deaths related to COVID-19, moving the state’s total to 6,317 deaths since the pandemic began.
Additionally, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) reported 63 new hospitalizations, moving the total number of hospitalizations during the pandemic to 25,838.
A total of 560,564 positive cases of COVID-19 have now been confirmed in Wisconsin, with 566 new cases reported Tuesday.

As of Tuesday, DHS reports that more than 3.15 million people have been tested in the state.
The state’s seven-day average positivity rate by test is at 2.6%.
DHS said the state has been allocated 1,410,300 vaccine doses so far. Of those, 1,208,151 had been administered as of Tuesday, and 366,096 people had completed the two-shot vaccine series.
