COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 3 new deaths, 480 new cases

Tuesday, Wisconsin health officials reported three new deaths related to COVID-19, moving the state’s total to 6,539 deaths since the pandemic began.
Additionally, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) reported 68 new hospitalizations, moving the total number of hospitalizations during the pandemic to 26,889.
A total of 570,412 positive cases of COVID-19 have now been confirmed in Wisconsin, with 480 new cases reported Tuesday.

As of Tuesday, DHS reports that more than 3.24 million people have been tested in the state.
The state’s seven-day average positivity rate by test is at 2.1%.
DHS said the state has been allocated 2,406,245 vaccine doses so far. Of those, 2,043,125 had been administered as of Tuesday, and 721,389 people had completed the two-shot vaccine series.
