COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 3 new deaths, 402 new cases

Monday, Wisconsin health officials reported three new deaths related to COVID-19, moving the state’s total to 6,680 deaths since the pandemic began.

Additionally, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) reported 34 new hospitalizations, moving the total number of hospitalizations during the pandemic to 28,174.

A total of 585,710 positive cases of COVID-19 have now been confirmed in Wisconsin, with 402 new cases reported Monday.

As of Monday, DHS reports that more than 3.36 million people have been tested in the state.

The state’s seven-day average positivity rate by test is at 3.8%.

DHS said 3.54 million vaccine doses had been administered as of Monday, and over 1.42 million people had completed the two-shot vaccine series.
