COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 25 new deaths, 747 new cases
Wednesday, Wisconsin health officials announced 25 new deaths related to COVID-19, moving the state’s total to 6,342 deaths since the pandemic began.
Additionally, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) reported 55 new hospitalizations, moving the total number of hospitalizations during the pandemic to 25,893.
A total of 561,311 positive cases of COVID-19 have now been confirmed in Wisconsin, with 747 new cases reported Wednesday.

As of Wednesday, DHS reports that more than 3.16 million people have been tested in the state.
The state’s seven-day average positivity rate by test is at 2.8%.
DHS said the state has been allocated 1,625,875 vaccine doses so far. Of those, 1,237,867 had been administered as of Wednesday, and 386,072 people had completed the two-shot vaccine series.
