COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 15 new deaths, 318 new cases
Wednesday, Wisconsin health officials reported 15 new deaths related to COVID-19, moving the state’s total to 6,554 deaths since the pandemic began.
Additionally, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) reported 53 new hospitalizations, moving the total number of hospitalizations during the pandemic to 26,942.
A total of 570,730 positive cases of COVID-19 have now been confirmed in Wisconsin, with 318 new cases reported Wednesday.

As of Wednesday, DHS reports that more than 3.24 million people have been tested in the state.
The state’s seven-day average positivity rate by test is at 2.2%.
DHS said the state has been allocated 2,406,245 vaccine doses so far. Of those, 2,089,819 had been administered as of Wednesday, and 738,714 people had completed the two-shot vaccine series.
