COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 13 new deaths, 639 new cases
Wednesday, Wisconsin health officials reported 13 new deaths related to COVID-19, moving the state’s total to 6,863 deaths since the pandemic began.
Additionally, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) reported 73 new hospitalizations, moving the total number of hospitalizations during the pandemic to 29,600.
A total of 600,936 positive cases of COVID-19 have now been confirmed in Wisconsin, with 639 new cases reported Wednesday.

As of Wednesday, DHS reports that more than 3.46 million people have been tested in the state.
The state’s seven-day average positivity rate by test is at 3.4%.
DHS said 4.53 million vaccine doses had been administered as of Wednesday, and over 2.05 million people had completed the two-shot vaccine series.
