Officials are working to determine what caused a fire that damaged a Cottage Grove home overnight.

Flames could be seen coming from the home around 2 a.m. Friday.

The home is located on Jeffrey Avenue South, just off Ravine Parkway.

When crews arrived, they found flames coming from the deck, as well as the back roof.

No one was reported injured, and the homeowners were able to evacuate the home before calling 911.
