Coon Rapids couple celebrates 70th wedding anniversary
Some marriages stand the test of time and one Coon Rapids couple is living proof.
Wednesday marked the 70th wedding anniversary of Joe Waselak and Barb Hanson-Waselak.
The couple was married on Nov. 11, 1950.
"We feel very fortunate and blessed," they said.
They have eight children, nine grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren, with two more on the way.

They said the secret to a long marriage is having a strong faith and having the same values.
"Hang in there together just be there for each other," Hanson-Waselak said.
