Hennepin County announced cooling options are open Monday to help people on hot days.
In a normal year, more than 600 Americans die of complications from overheating, Hennepin County said. The most vulnerable people are young children, senior citizens and those with underlying health conditions.
With temperatures forecast to be in the mid-90s Monday with high humidity, the county said residents can view an interactive map to find a nearby cooling center.
