Construction for the Minnesota ice castles is underway at Long Lake Regional Park.

The castles are set to open in January, and tickets will also go on sale next month.

"Anything from rain to snow and stuff like that can affect us differently here," said Anna Closser a Build-Lead. "But right now, we have amazing temperatures here and we’re super excited for that, and that allows us to build way faster."

You’re encouraged to buy your tickets ahead of time, as on-site ticket sales aren’t guaranteed.

Depending on the day, tickets range from $15-$22 for adults and $11-$16 for kids under the age of 12.
