Christmas in Color drive-thru event coming to Valleyfair

A new drive-thru holiday light show is coming to Minnesota this winter.

Christmas in Color is coming to Valleyfair in Shakopee beginning on Nov. 20.

Christmas in Color organizers say the event features more than 1.5 million lights synchronized to holiday music.

Tickets are on sale now, and the event runs every night from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. through Jan. 3, with exceptions of Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, when the event is closed.

Tickets are $30 per vehicle and customers can arrive any time within the purchased 30-minute time slot. Organizers said customers aren’t guaranteed admission if they arrive outside of the purchased time slot.

The drive-thru event allows people to enjoy the light show from the comfort of their own vehicle while also safely social distancing from others.
