Child sexual exploitation sting in St. Louis Park results in 4 arrests

Four men were arrested Tuesday during an undercover operation in St. Louis Park targeting suspects who were soliciting sex from a minor, police said.

According to the St. Louis Park Police Department, four men were arrested on suspicion of felony prostitution: 31-year-old Rudy Josue Ramirez-Chavez, 23-year-old Melington Estuardo Perez-Sanchez, 30-year-old Nue Lor and 38-year-old Mohamed Ali Selim.

Three of the four were booked and released, police said, but Selim remains in custody at the Hennepin County Jail “due to his position of authority working with children.”

Their cases have been submitted to the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office, and a charging decision is anticipated Thursday, police said.

Police said several local and state law enforcement agencies were involved in the operation.
