Charges: Bloomington man assaulted woman he met on dating website

A Bloomington man has been charged in connection to an April 2018 sexual assault.
According to a criminal complaint, Michael James Lovestrand, 50, faces one count of third-degree criminal sexual conduct.
The complaint says the assault occurred at his apartment while meeting a woman that he had met online.
According to the Mounds View School District, Lovestrand was an employee from 2004 to 2012, and had a series of leaves of absence before leaving the district in 2016.
