Chanhassen man identified as Lake Minnetonka drowning victim
The victim of a drowning on Lake Minnetonka Monday has been identified as a Chanhassen man.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim Tuesday as 64-year-old Thomas Walter Lang.
The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office said, at about 10:26 a.m., deputies were dispatched to a report of boaters thrown from a boat in the area of Gideon Bay. HCSO personnel learned that two men were in the boat when rough water caused them to be thrown from the watercraft.
