U of M issues alert regarding carjacking incident

The University of Minnesota is warning of a carjacking that happened late Sunday night.
Officers say a person was assaulted, and then had their vehicle stolen while doing a delivery around Washington and University Avenues Southeast at 9 p.m.
Officials say the vehicle which was stolen is a silver Toyota Prius with a Minnesota license plate of HGL205.
In addition, the driver’s side mirror was ripped off when this happened.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
