Canterbury Concert Series returns summer 2022

Canterbury Park announced Tuesday that its outdoor concert series will be returning this summer following a successful inaugural series last year.

The first show is Everclear on July 29. Tickets for all shows go on-sale Friday, May 20th at 10 a.m. The other seven artists are Anderson East, Melissa Etheridge, Marc Cohn, Gov’t Mule, Cloud Cult, Yonder Mountain String Band & The Lil Smokies and Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue. Tuesday’s release says more artists are expected to be announced soon.

The final show is September 16th. Most shows are on Fridays with two on Tuesdays. Tickets start at $25, $30 or $35 depending on the show.

“The positive response from guests attending last year’s inaugural concert series was tremendous,” said Deb Schaber, Director of Entertainment for Canterbury Park in a statement.  “Our venue provides guests an opportunity to experience great outdoor music in a unique setting that offers comfortable seating, outstanding sightlines and acoustics, and close proximity to the stage.”
