Campgrounds set to reopen next week in Wisconsin
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources announced Wednesday that state campgrounds will reopen Wednesday, June 1.
With the reopening, special conditions will be put in place for the safety of staff and visitors.
Those will include automatic touchless check-in, signage informing visitors to be responsible and the closure of park offices to the public.
Same-day camping reservations will only be available by phone at 1-888-947-2757 or online.
Check-in at visitor stations is no longer necessary, and campers are allowed to proceed directly to their campgrounds.
