Brooklyn Park to require masks in city-owned facilities
Brooklyn Park will require masks in city facilities, regardless of an individual’s vaccination status, the city said Thursday.
The move is in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s recommendations.
Starting Friday, all city employees will be required to wear masks, according to the city. Starting Tuesday, Aug. 10, all visitors to the facilities will be required to wear masks.
According to the city, masks won’t be required in locker rooms, rented rooms in the Community Activity Center or when skating at the ice arena.
