Brooklyn Center declares curfew for Thursday night
The city of Brooklyn Center has issued a citywide curfew for Thursday night.
The curfew is set to begin at 11 p.m. and end on Friday at 6 a.m.
The city did not issue a curfew Wednesday night but did the previous three nights.
The curfew is in response to the recent shooting death of 20-year-old Daunte Wright, who was killed by former officer Kim Potter on April 11. Civil unrest and demonstrations broke out after the incident.
