Boys and Girls Club of Central Minnesota to offer child care for emergency service workers

The Boys and Girls Club of Central Minnesota is offering child care for emergency and health care workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Earlier this week, Gov. Tim Walz closed schools because of the outbreak.

The programs are located at Mississippi Heights Elementary in Sauk Rapids, Pine Meadow Elementary School in Sartell and Madison Elementary School. The programs run from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Parents are required to provide proof of employment in the health care industry.

Staff will be providing temperature checks for students who use the program.
