Boy seriously injured after being assaulted at Edina YMCA

A boy was seriously injured after being assaulted by a group of people at the YMCA in Edina Friday night.

According to Edina police, the juvenile boy sustained serious injuries after the assault and was taken to the hospital.

No suspects have been arrested, as police say they all ran from the scene before officers arrived. Law enforcement adds there is no threat to the public.

Authorities are currently investigating the incident.
