Body found in July identified, ruled accidental drowning in Crystal Lake

The body of a man found in Crystal Lake has been identified by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Khalil Ahmad Azad, a 24-year-old man from Buffalo, was found dead in the waters of Crystal Lake on July 5.

The medical examiner determined that the cause of death was accidental freshwater drowning.
