Bodies of man, woman found in Uptown apartment

Minneapolis police are investigating the deaths of two people found inside an Uptown apartment.

According to police, the bodies of a man and woman were found around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday during a welfare check. Neither of their names were immediately released.

The apartment is located in a building on Hennepin Avenue near 31st Street.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner is working to determine the cause of their deaths.
