Bobcat to add new plant in Rogers, hire over 100 workers
Bobcat Company has announced plans for its third Minnesota location.
Tuesday, the compact equipment company announced it will invest in a new assembly plant in Rogers. Once it is up and running — which the company says will be sometime during the fourth quarter of this year — Bobcat plans to hire more than 100 full-time workers at the location.
The new plant will be on a 22-acre plot at 19850 Diamond Lake Road South, which Bobcat says will allow it to optimize manufacturing logistics thanks to its proximity to Interstate 94 and Highway 101.
Bobcat plans to hold a job fair recruiting event from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 25 at the Hampton Inn in Rogers.
The Rogers plant will be Bobcat’s third location in Minnesota, joining its manufacturing facility in Litchfield and a global collaboration center in Minneapolis.
