Blaxill announces campaign for 3rd Congressional District

The former treasurer of Minnesota’s Republican Party has announced he is running for the state’s 3rd Congressional District.
Mark Blaxill announced his campaign Tuesday morning.
Blaxill, who a news release states grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Princeton University, later co-founded 3LP Advisors and LXP Corp.
He has also been named the CFO of Vibrant Technologies and the Holland Center. He served as the treasurer for Minnesota’s Republican Party in 2021.
The Third Congressional District covers parts of the west metro, including Maple Grove, Chanhassen and Bloomington. The seat is currently held by Democrat Dean Phillips.
